Yoon Dong-seop (윤동섭, born October 2, 1961) is a South Korean medical scholar, professor, and the current president of Yonsei University, a position he assumed in February 2024.
Career and Education:

• Graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine.
• Surgical specialist.
• Served as Gangnam Vice Dean of Yonsei University College of Medicine, Head Professor of the Department of Surgery, and Director of Gangnam Severance Hospital.
• Former Vice President of Medical Affairs and Director of the Medical Center at Yonsei University.
• Former Chairman of the Korean Surgical Society and Vice President of the Korean Academy of Medical Sciences
• Previously served as the Chairman of the Accreditation Board for Medical Education and Training, Ministry of Health and Welfare.
• Currently the Chairman of the Korea Hospital Association.
• Attended Busan Daeshin Middle School and Gyeongnam High School.
• He is a graduate of Yonsei University and its Graduate School, and also holds a degree from Korea University Graduate School.

• He is described as a devoted Christian.
• Strongly identifies with the mission to "free mankind from disease with the love of God".
• (2023-11-06) Became the 20th president elect of Yonsei University.
• (2024-06-27) Yonsei University will work with the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs to erect a memorial on campus to honor alumni who served in the Korean War.
