Originally founded in Jinju, South Gyeongsang Province as "Peace Corporation(평화상사)," producing and selling 'Jinju Fish Cake(진주어묵)'. In 1969, the company changed its name to Jinju Ham Sausage Co., Ltd(진주햄소세지)., and in 1983, the company changed to its current name Jinjuham Co., Ltd( (주)진주햄). That same year, they moved their headquarters and factory to Yangsan, South Gyeongsang Province.
