Seotaiji celebrated the 25th anniversary of his debut with a special remake album titled *Time: Traveler Seo Taiji 25*. The album, released on September 5, 2017, features remakes of Seotaiji's songs by junior artists.

The project, also named "Time: Traveler," began in July 2017, with individual tracks released digitally before being compiled into the physical album. Seotaiji personally selected the participating artists, who were chosen for their popularity, musicality, and potential for growth. He also provided guidance on song selection and arrangement for the remakes.
