방대식 (Bang Dae-sik) is a South Korean singer known for singing many famous anime songs, including for the *Pokémon* and *Dragon Ball* series. He was born on November 2, 1966. He debuted in 1995 and is a graduate of the Seoul Institute of the Arts.
Besides his work in anime, Bang has also received the Cambodian Government Medal for creating the logo song for Prime Minister Hun Sen of Cambodia. Because of his experience, he currently serves as the president of the CM (Commercial Music) Song Singers Association.
He is also the father of Bang Ye-dam, who was born on May 7, 2002. Bang Dae-sik is well known for having created over forty songs for commercials and animations.
