There are two people named Choi Jeong-cheol (최정철):

• Choi Jeong-cheol (Singer): Born on March 2, 1984, he is a South Korean singer. He debuted in 2002 as a member of the group Q.O.Q. and later pursued a solo career. He initially performed under the name Jeongcheol (정철) but started using his full name, Choi Jeong-cheol, with his 3rd album. He is known for his delicate voice and high notes, and composer Yoon Il-sang described him as "a rare singer with a weekend feel." Some of his notable works include "Now & Forever," "It's Raining", and "If I Could". His most recent release, as of June 18, 2024, is titled "Left Alone".

• Choi Jeong-cheol (Independence Activist): He participated in the Aunae Independence Movement in Cheonan, Chungcheongnam-do during the Japanese colonial period. He protested the death of his son, Kim Gu-eung, who led the protests, and was martyred.
