Hunminjeongeum (훈민정음) is the name of several software programs, primarily developed by Samsung Electronics:
1. Hunminjeongeum Word Processor (Most Common Usage):

• This is a Korean word processor for Windows, developed by Samsung Electronics. Its file extension is ".gul".
• It was often bundled with Samsung computers, which helped it gain users.
• It was named after the original Hunminjeongeum, the document published by King Sejong the Great that introduced the Korean alphabet (Hangul).
• While once popular, especially within Samsung, it has been largely overshadowed by Microsoft Word and Hangul (from Hancom). Samsung itself eventually switched to Microsoft Word.
