AsIAm is Ireland's National Autism Charity. Founded in 2014 by Adam Harris, it's an autistic-led organization dedicated to transforming society to be more accepting and accessible to autistic people.

Here are some of the key aspects of AsIAm:

• Mission: To create a society where every autistic individual can reach their full potential and participate fully.
• Advocacy: AsIAm advocates for the autism community by raising awareness and providing training to schools, higher education institutions, employers, and other organizations on how to be more autism-friendly.
• Support: They provide evidence-based advice, resources, and guidance to the autism community. This includes a signposting service, information events, and advocacy support.
• Programs and Initiatives: AsIAm offers various programs, such as the AAC Support Programme, which makes communication systems more accessible, providing high-tech communication devices to Autistic people who may benefit from AAC.
• Prepare Me AsIAm for Public Transport: A campaign launched in collaboration with National Transport Authority (NTA) (November 18, 2024) to promote the "Prepare Me AsIAm for Public Transport" initiative.
• History: It started as an online platform in 2014 to share information and experiences, and has grown into Ireland's Autism Charity.
