• Benefitial Practices: It can generally signify beneficial practices.
• Merit and Wisdom: Can also relate to merit and wisdom (복덕지혜)., or the accumulation of merit and knowledge.
• Difference between Bokdeok and Gongdeok: While both relate to merit, *bokdeok* (복덕) refers to the blessings received as a result of good deeds (the fruit of good karma), while *gongdeok* (공덕) is a more general term for meritorious virtues or actions. *Bokdeok* is considered *yurujeok* (유루적), meaning it is finite and subject to exhaustion.

• Happiness and wealth: It can mean happiness and prosperity, often referring to the blessings one receives as a result of virtuous actions.
