팔레스타인 중앙통계국의 조사에 따르면 헤브론 주의 인구는 꾸준히 증가하는 추세를 보인다. 1997년 12월 10일 기준 인구는 405,664명이었으며^[27], 2007년 12월 1일에는 552,164명으로 늘어났다.^[28] 2014년 7월 1일 추정 인구는 684,200명으로 집계되어 지속적인 증가세를 나타내고 있다.
