2. 원인

4. 치료

치료법은 등급(I-III)에 따라 다르지만, 일반적으로 코르티손, 리툭시맙, 화학 요법(에토포시드, 빈크리스틴, 사이클로포스파미드, 독소루비신)으로 구성된다. 메토트렉세이트는 림프종모양 육아종증을 유발하는 것으로 알려져 있다.[6][7] 인터페론 알파는 미국 국립 암 연구소에서 다양한 결과를 얻으며 사용되었다.[20] 최근 몇 년 동안 림프종모양 육아종증 환자에게 조혈모 세포 이식이 비교적 성공적으로 수행되었다. 2013년 연구에서 10건의 사례를 확인한 결과, 8명의 환자가 치료 후 생존했으며 수년 동안 질병이 없었다. 질병이 없는 환자 중 2명은 나중에 사망했는데, 1명은 자살로, 1명은 4년 후 두 번째 이식 후 이식편대숙주병으로 사망했다. 나머지 두 환자는 이식 후 패혈증으로 사망했다.[21]

5. 예후

현재 5년 생존율은 60% 이상이다. 그러나 조혈모세포 이식이 최근에야 시행되었으므로, 이 수치는 미래에 낮아질 가능성이 있다. 중추신경계(CNS) 침범 환자의 경우, 미국 국립 암 연구소에서 인터페론 알파를 이용한 치료를 통해 환자의 90%에서 완전 관해를 얻었다.[20]
