2. 역사적 배경

아프리카 대륙의 첫 번째 유적지는 1978년에 등재되었는데, 세네갈의 고레 섬과 에티오피아의 라리벨라 암굴 교회 및 시미엔 국립 공원이 세계 유산 목록이 만들어지면서 선정되었다.[2][3]
